Why we started Standard

Simple ingredients.
A higher standard.

Plant-derived terpene profiles, clear product information, and third-party reports you can open for yourself. The idea has always been simple: make products we would feel good handing to a friend.

Our story

We are Standard. Here is why we started.

Standard began with a small group of people who were tired of paying premium prices for forgettable formulas and filler-heavy products. We believed thoughtful ingredients, useful information, and fair pricing should belong together. No shortcuts, no candy-store disguise—just products built with care and made to be understood.

What guides the work

Our mission & values.

The values are practical: make careful choices, explain what is in front of the customer, and keep improving the product instead of hiding behind the packaging.

Transparency

Product information and available third-party reports should be easy to find and straightforward to read.

Care in formulation

Ingredients, hardware, flavor, and format all have to work together. We refine the finished experience as a whole.

Fair value

Quality should not depend on inflated storytelling. We focus on the product, useful support, and a fair price.

Inputs matter

From the farm up.

Our work starts with the inputs: plant material, terpene profiles, oils, and hardware. We pay attention to how those pieces come together, then refine the finished product in small batches.

  • Profile first. Aroma and flavor should feel connected to the plant, not to a candy aisle.
  • Format matters. Hardware, texture, and serving format are part of the product—not an afterthought.
  • Keep refining. We use customer feedback and product performance to guide the next iteration.

The purity conversation starts with evidence.

The public report library shows the third-party documents currently linked to products in our catalog. The same product-to-report registry also powers the Lab Reports area in customer accounts.

Laboratory reports vary by product, sample, date, and included panel. Read the identifiers and the results shown in the document rather than relying on a blanket claim.

See the standard in the products.
